Ingredients:
75 g porridge oats
250ml whole milk
Half a Tsp cinnamon
1 small apple
1 TBsp light brown sugar
1 Tsp butter
Method:
Chop the apple into small chunks, roughly 2cm x 2cm.
Add the oats, milk and cinnamon to a pan. Start to simmer on a low heat and stir until desired thickness is reached.
In a small pan on a low heat, add the apples, butter and brown sugar. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the apples have softened slightly and a sauce has been made.
Pour the porridge into a bowl. Add the caramelised apples and the sticky sauce.
