3 garlic cloves, crushed
3 onions (brown or red)
900ml boiling water
2 beef stock cubes
1 Tsp mixed herbs
2 TBsp Worcester sauce
1 TBsp sieved plain flour
Salt and pepper
Peel and slice the onions. Add the onion and garlic to a large saucepan with some oil. Fry on a low heat for 6-8 minutes until soft.
Set the onions aside and add the sausages to the pan. Fry on a low heat until browned.
Add the onions back in along with the boiling water, stock cubes, mixed herbs, Worcester sauce and generously season with salt and pepper.
Bring to the boil and then simmer for 20-25 minutes. To thicken the sauce, whisk in the sieved flour and stir well whilst simmering. Enjoy!
