Tomato Spaghetti

2 garlic cloves

2 large brown onions

2 tins of chopped tomatoes

Large mugful of boiling water

2 Tsp sugar

Salt & pepper

300g dried spaghetti

Optional topping - handful of coriander/basil


Peel and crush the garlic. Peel and dice the onions. Fry both in a large frying pan on low heat in oil for 10 minutes until soft.

Add the chopped tomatoes, sugar, boiling water & generously season with salt & pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes on a low heat.

Put the spaghetti on to boil in a large saucepan with about 700ml boiling water. Boil until soft for about 10-12 minutes.

When cooked, drain the spaghetti and add to the sauce. Mix through thoroughly and enjoy!
