Time Taken:

30 minutes

Portions:

10

Ingredients:

1 roll of shop-bought puff pastry

3 heaped TBsp pesto

3 ham slices

5 pepperoni slices

Ground pepper

70g parmesan/cheddar cheese

1 egg, beaten

Method:

Preheat oven to 200°C. Roll out the pastry and lay on a baking tray, keeping it on the baking parchment.

Brush some of the beaten egg over the whole of the pastry (if you don't have a pastry brush, use your fingers).

Spread over the pesto.

Slice or rip up the ham and pepperoni into strips. Spread them over the pesto layer.

Grate the cheese and spread over for the final layer.

From the shorter end, roll up the pastry relatively tightly.

Using a sharp knife, slice into roughly 1.5cm slices and lay out on the baking sheet. Brush the rest of the egg over all the pastries and then season with ground pepper.

Bake for roughly 20 minutes until golden brown and serve!
