Warm Mushroom Topped Toast

10 minutes




1 garlic clove, crushed

Half a red onion

6 medium mushrooms

1 piece of bread

Salt and pepper

Small handful of grated cheddar cheese

Half a Tsp mixed herbs


Slice the onion. Chop the mushrooms into chunks. Set grill to a medium-high heat. 

On a medium heat, fry the onion and mushrooms with the crushed garlic and mixed herbs in butter for 10 minutes until soft. 

Turn to a low heat and add salt and pepper. Stir.

Toast the bread and spread with butter.

Add the mushroom mixture on top and sprinkle over the cheese.

Grill for 5 minutes until the cheese has melted and enjoy!
